Post-election opportunities exist for North Alabamians willing to capitalize on them

The aftermath of any election always features reflections on what “could’ve been” – but the recount efforts in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania have brought this to a fever pitch. Cable news features Clinton campaign b-roll footage on loop as pundits lament Hillary’s failed coronation and vow revenge through Electoral College reform.

Rather than wallowing in partisan “could’ve been” mourning, we would all be better served thinking about what could be as a result of the election outcome, regardless of political affiliation. The Trump transition offers several clues about the incoming Administration’s priorities, and North Alabama is well positioned to capitalize on these opportunities.
